At MAREUS, every product is made from premium natural materials, carefully selected for durability, comfort, and lasting elegance. Proper care of products made from natural fur, genuine leather, or wool contributes significantly to preserving their appearance and structure.

MAREUS product warranty

The MAREUS commercial warranty lasts between 1 and 3 years, depending on the type of product. This warranty is provided in addition to the consumer's legal rights regarding conformity, but does not accumulate with them.

What the warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Structural seam issues
  • Material nonconformities compared with the product specifications

What the warranty does not cover

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by excessive moisture
  • Damage caused by exposure to rain or snow
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Cleaning at non-specialized facilities
  • Improper storage (humidity, moths, compression)
  • Excessive contact with heat sources or chemical agents (perfume, creams, etc.)
  • Mechanical damage (scratches, snags, tears caused by mechanical forces or wearing a size that is too small)

Claim procedure

  • Contact the MAREUS team at contact@mareus.ro
  • Submit clear photos of the product and its defects, along with a description of the problem
  • Provide proof of purchase or order details
  • After the analysis, the MAREUS team will respond with an answer and the next steps within 15 business days.
  • After receiving and analyzing the product, if a manufacturing defect is found, MAREUS will propose repairing it if possible or replacing it if the repair cannot be carried out.

Care of natural fur garments

 

After wearing:

  • Gently shake the product to remove superficial dirt
  • Air it in a ventilated space
  • Do not apply heat (dryer, radiator)

If it gets wet (rain/snow):

  • Shake off excess water
  • Blot with a soft towel
  • Let it dry naturally, away from sources of heat
  • After drying, gently comb and shake it out

Proper storage:

  • In a well-ventilated wardrobe, away from strong light sources
  • Without plastic directly on the product
  • On a wide hanger
  • Avoid long-term compression or storing it among other garments that could press against the fur
  • Use moth-repellent solutions, without direct contact (lavender)

Cleaning:

  • Exclusively at specialized centers

Care of products made from natural leather

Storage and care:

  • Avoid exposing the product to rain or snow, as this may cause discoloration
  • Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, alcohol, or chemical agents
  • Air it in a ventilated space
  • Condition the leather with a special natural leather balm/cream (test on a hidden area)
  • Do not apply heat (dryer, radiator)

If it gets wet (rain/snow):

  • Let it dry naturally, away from sources of heat
